For fishing the Kustatan River I would recomend stopping in at Kens Alaska Tackle [(907)262-6870] by the Kenai River Bridge and pick up the following: Egg loop hook 1/0 G, size 7 Barrel Swivels, Size 3 Slides, and a 2 oz. pyramid weight. Get a few of each in case your line gets damaged. I provide the bait, I just need the eggs from all the females you catch so we can cure them up for the next fishermen. The Silver Salmon have been weighing in from 8-19 pounds and are very fun to catch.
